You will have a one of a kind, truly authentic experience, full of fun and action! In the heart of nature, you will tune into your senses to discover and connect with nature.
You will join me and my dog ​​Gemma, my partner Santo, the highly experienced truffle hunter, and his trained dogs Vasco, Billy or Chicca for an introduction to the magical and mysterious world of truffles. You will explore the art of finding these gastronomic treasures!
– 8.00 we will meet in Turin and take you to our secret places – outside the city in the woods.
– We will have a coffee break in the village where we find the truffles.
– we will give you an introduction to truffles, where they grow, quality and rules on their search.
– we will walk and look for truffles, (white or black depending on the season) in the forest with the help of our beloved and talented dogs.
You will actively participate in truffle hunting, you will learn to recognize truffles and how to collect them
– we will have lunch in a typical Italian trattoria and taste the truffles found.
The journey takes 40 minutes and 40 minutes back
Duration of the experience: approximately 3 hours for truffle hunting.
White truffle from 1 October to 31 January
During the other months of the year we can find other types of truffles; with the exception of the month of May and September, in which it is forbidden to collect truffles.
