Join us in the forest
Join us for an authentic truffle hunt in the wooded hills of Monferrato—near Cocconato in the province of Asti—one of Piedmont’s classic truffle-hunting regions. We meet at 8:30 AM and head into the forest with our trained truffle dogs to search for the *bianchetto* (winter white truffle), just as local hunters have done for generations. Along the way, we’ll show you how the dogs work and how to read the terrain, and we’ll explain what makes this part of Piedmont so ideal for truffles. Afterward, we’ll head to a local trattoria for lunch before wrapping up the day around 4:30 PM.
This is the winter edition of the hunt, running from October to mid-March.
- What’s included
- A full day with us, roughly from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Useful information
Official meeting point: Piazza Cavour, Cocconato (Asti). Staying in Turin? Let us know in advance—we can arrange to meet at the *Arco Monumentale*, but you will need to drive to Cocconato yourself, as we cannot provide guest transport.
We will send you a brief note on what to wear and bring after you book.
Whether or not we actually find truffles depends on the day—the walk and lunch are always guaranteed, but the truffles are up to nature.
